The feasibility of a portable NIR sensor for off-line determination diverse wood quality aspects relevant in the production glue-laminated timber was demonstrated. best performance noticed assessing moisture content, with lower capacity to estimate density and mechanical properties. spectroscopy modestly capable predicting surface roughness. However, traceability raw resources automatic classification defects were successfully developed chemometric model could predict total delamination detailed length.
